We are committed to providing complete transparency regarding our fees and policies. It’s important to familiarize yourself with this information before booking to fully understand any potential costs.

All clients are required to use our Scout for Pet Parents app, as we do not accept cash payments except for tipping team members. Detailed information on additional fees and important policies is provided at the end of this webpage.

It is the client’s responsibility to review our policies and pricing before booking. Cancellation and 24-hour notice fees will only be waived in cases of emergencys. We also encourage clients to review the Scout service agreement upon signing up to avoid any surprises or unexpected costs.

WE DO NOT OFFER 24 HOUR CARE. While we’d love to offer 24/7 care, our team has other commitments, including caring for multiple clients and managing personal responsibilities. Some of our team members also have other jobs, which makes it difficult to provide around-the-clock care. However, we’d be happy to work with you to find a solution, such as a combination of drop-in visits and overnight stays, to ensure your pets receive the attention they deserve.   • Drop In Visits

    Clients have the option to select appointments from 7am to 9pm. They can choose between 30-minute visits, 1-hour visits, or customize their schedule! Rates cover mileage and tax.

    If client requests visit before 7am, this is called a “Sunrise” visit, please refer to that service for pricing.

    If client requests visit after 9pm, this is called “Almost Overnight” visit, please refer to that service for pricing.

    Cat Only Houses:

    An additional pet fee for visits only applies if there are three or more cats in the home (THIS ONLY APPLIES TO 30-MINUTE VISITS). For hour-long visits, an additional pet fee will be charged.

    Base Rate: $25 per half-hour visit or $35 per one-hour visit.

    Additional Pets: Each additional pet adds $5 for a half-hour visit and $7 for a one-hour visit.

    Medication (mixed in food): +$0

    Medication (oral/topical/drops): +$3 per pet

    Medication (injection): +$5 per pet

    Access to fully-fenced backyard: +$0

  • WALKS

    15 to 20-Minute Walk:

    $7 for one dog

    $14 for two dogs

    $21 for three dogs

    30 to 40-Minute Walk:

    $10 for one dog

    $20 for two dogs

    $30 for three dogs

    Leash Walk Policy

    For clients without a secure backyard—such as those in apartments, condos, or homes without fenced yards—we offer brief leash potty breaks of less than 15-20 minutes to ensure your pet’s safety during outings. We strictly enforce a no-roaming policy unless your pet is in a securely enclosed yard.

    $5 for one dog

    $10 for two dogs

    $15 for three dogs

    Please Note: Walks are only available as an add-on to our visits and cannot be booked as a standalone service.

    Weather Safety Policy

    We take your pet's safety seriously, especially in extreme weather conditions like high heat or severe cold. To protect your pet from health risks such as heatstroke, we will cancel full-length walks during dangerous weather. However, brief leash walks for potty breaks will still be provided if needed.

  • Doggy Day Care

    Available at the pet's home or the team member's home. Full hours must be requested. Rates cover mileage and tax.

    Base Rate: $50 for 2 hours

    Additional Pets: Each additional pet incurs an additional charge of $5, applicable to the first hour only.

    Additional Hours:

    After the two hours at the Team Member’s Home, the rate is an extra $20 per hour.

    At the Pet’s Home, the rate increases by an additional $22 per hour after the first two hours.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION :

    Please be aware that for doggy daycare services in your home, bookings must be made in full-hour increments. For example, if you request care from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, you will still be charged for the full hour from 8am to 9am. Additionally, we do not offer doggy daycare during holiday weeks to accommodate other clients' needs, as holidays are our busiest time of the year. We strictly adhere to the times booked in advance, and requests for early arrivals may be denied. Please keep in mind that we have other clients to take care of as well. Since doggy daycare is a longer service (multiple hours), we require bookings to be made at least a week in advance.

  • Overnights

    Team members will stay overnight at your house from 10pm to 7am. Any request from a client for an earlier arrival or later departure will incur additional charges, for extended overnight stays, please contact us for pricing details.

    Rate: $80 a night + $12 additional pet fee

  • Wedding Companion

  • Boarding In Team Member's Home

    At this time, we’re unable to provide boarding for cats.

    We strongly encourage you to review all pricing details carefully before booking for boarding.

    Base Rate : $80

    Our Addtional Fees - Applies to boarding in team members homes.

    Additional Pet Fee (per night) : $20

    Late Pick Up (After 12pm) : $30

    Extra Late Pick-Up Fee (After 5 PM): $80 (Includes an extra night charge).

    Early Drop Off Fee ( Applies before 7:30am) : $30

    Early Pick Up Fee (Applies before 7:30am) : $30

    These charges are necessary to accommodate our staff's schedule and ensure that your pet receives the best care during their stay with us.

  • "Sunrise" Visit

    Anytime before 7:30am. This will be a 40 minute visit.

    Base Rate : $35

  • "Almost Overnight" Visit

    Anytime between 9pm - 11pm. This will be a 40 minute visit.

    Base Rate : $35

  • express visit

    Ideal for clients exclusively needing basic care such as food refills, water level checks, and litter box cleaning for their cats. This option excludes cats requiring medication. Visit times may be adjusted to accommodate our team's schedule. Visits are limited to 15 minutes. Rates cover mileage and tax.

    Base Rate: $17 / per visit

  • Quick Check-Up

    These visits are scheduled for a maximum of 20 minutes. For pet walks, we recommend booking a 30-minute visit. Please note that during these visits, we strictly adhere to a leash-walk policy ONLY.

    We are committed to providing exceptional care for your beloved pets throughout the year, including holidays. As part of our dedication to maintaining high-quality service during peak times, we implement a holiday surcharge to ensure our availability and the best possible care for your furry friends.

    Please be advised that a 25% surcharge will be applied to all pet sitting services scheduled on the following major holidays:

    • New Year’s Day

    • Martin Luther King Jr. Day

    • Easter

    • Mother’s Day

    • Memorial Day

    • Father’s Day

    • 4th of July

    • Labor Day

    • Thanksgiving Day

    • Day after Thanksgiving

    This surcharge helps us compensate our dedicated staff for their commitment to caring for your pets during these special times. We appreciate your understanding and support in maintaining the high standard of service you expect from us.

  • Key Pick up/Drop off

    Key pickup or key return (that occurs separately from the Meet & Greet or final pet visit) is $15. We kindly suggest that you leave a key out where it is accessible to all the team members on your team, to avoid this charge.

    As professional pet sitters, we prioritize maintaining a clean, flea-free environment for the safety and well-being of all our clients. Therefore, we enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding fleas. This policy is designed to protect not only the pets in our care but also to prevent the potential spread of fleas to other animals.

    All pets entrusted to us must be free of fleas. Should any instance of fleas be identified during a pet's stay with us, we will take immediate action. Depending on the severity, this may include prompt treatment or, in more serious cases, termination of the sitting arrangement to safeguard the health of all pets under our supervision.

  • Vaccinations

    We prioritize the health and safety of all pets entrusted to our care. As part of our commitment to providing a secure environment for your furry companions, we require all pets to be up-to-date on their vaccinations.
