Scenario:
You arrive at a client’s home for a scheduled midday visit to care for their 3-year-old Labrador Retriever named Max. As you enter the house, you notice that Max is unusually agitated. He’s barking loudly, pacing around, and seems distressed. Additionally, there is a note from the client stating that Max has a history of separation anxiety and is particularly sensitive to changes in routine.
Question:
How would you handle this situation to ensure Max’s well-being and comfort? Please describe the steps you would take to address his anxiety and provide the care he needs during your visit.
An expectation as a team member with Paws and Claws Pet Services Florida, is to be available and willing to work holidays, nights, midday, and weekends as these are likely times clients will request services.
